ABOUT ELLIE MAE

My journey with art began in lockdown, just after finishing school, a time of deep reflection and rebellion. I was painting every day, diving into the energy of the 1960s counterculture and psychedelic movement. I felt an intense connection to that era: the bold self-expression, the challenge of corrupt systems, and the awakening of higher consciousness. As I explored psychedelics for the first time, my mind opened, and my creativity flowed into trippy, surreal pieces - mushrooms, bold colours, and cosmic imagery that expressed both frustration and freedom.
Over time, my work evolved with my spirit. I moved from anger at the world to love for it. My art now reflects the deep beauty I see in nature and consciousness—a dreamy, vibrant vision of the world as it truly is: magical, alive, and sacred. Through every mural and canvas, I aim to remind people that heaven isn’t somewhere else—it’s here, now, in this moment, if we choose to see it. My art is an invitation to open your eyes, connect with your imagination, and step into the magic that’s always been around and within us.
